My major field of research is in the world of Geology, specifically that of Mineralogy dealing with color centers in the silicate minerals (focus on topaz and quartz), glass and other materials. I also delve into environmentally related problems such as sustainable energy including hydrogen fuel, and disaster prevention relative to earthquakes, tsunami and other phenomena. However, I am also well versed in the arts and literatures of the US, UK and other parts of the world as well as history and its relationship to present-day world environmental problems and technological development. With experience in aviation, I approach the advances and problems relative to that field as well.
