In the fields of healthcare, professionals and patients often encounter difficult ethical problems which can undermine their dignity. To solve these problems, ethics consultation services have been implemented in Japanese hospitals. In collaboration with healthcare professionals, researchers, and legal experts, I am conducting research on how to effectively establish and operate ethics consultation services. Simultaneously, I am exploring a similar system for ethics consultation in home-care settings.
